Got PERI-fied by Nando's Chicken

Another late post again. Accidentally remembered to post after saw someone's instagram. Actually I want to post it since last year, but because been busy done my final task at college, its been postponed, and Alhamdulillah, few months ago I got the chance to eat it again. :')
Here I introduce you to... NANDO'S Chicken!

Not so familiar? So did I, because there isn't any Nando's in Indonesia. I was introduced to this yummy-unique-tasty chicken by Bundar (as usual.. :p). Well, she had live in Perth, and two times to Kuala Lumpur, she always said that she missed this Nando's a lot. First time I went to Kuala Lumpur, on the second day we ate Nando's, then the second time to Kuala Lumpur, we bought Nando's for dinner at first day.

Get so curious? Me too at the first time! (and it will be one of a-place-where-to-eat I will choose). Well, the main dishes made from chicken and the special and the thing that you will be really missed for is the Peri-Peri sauce!

The famous and tasty Peri-Peri sauce.. :9

The size of chicken is really huge! Only eat one cut you will get full. I still couldn't get noticed, how the chicken cooked, but I really sure its been grilled. Well, the chicken marinated well. It has really good texture, and perfectly well-cooked. And the most hearted part is the Peri-Peri sauce. Like I haven't met any taste like that. Sour, spicy, creamy, aaahhhh.. I really fall in love with.. Its totally yummy! Its look like tabascco, rare and limited, and maybe only Nando's has the sauce like that. Hopefully I can back to Nando's again soon!

#30DaysChallenge : Day 5, Even tummy needs a holiday

A big warn when I put on my clothes, I couldn't wear my pants :( , and the saddest part is I couldn't wear light color pants! :( Okay, this is really bad. I saw my body on the mirror, and its really huge alarm and challenged me more.

Today is saturday. Still and still on my simple daily workout and lemon juice detox (fyi, I got many lemons from my boyfie's mom! And its fresh from the tree! Yaiy!).
Not much I could tell you here, its all about the food I ate today totally fun food. And still couldn't avoid fried food. I also drank sweet drinks today. Well, even tummy needs a holiday and needs to be happy, right? :)
Oh the good news is I could felt my tummy bit flat and although its only simple body workout, I could felt my body burn. :')
Anyway, I still couldn't find how to toned my triceps, do you know?

#30DaysChallenge : Day 4, Pressed the appetite

Hellooow...
Waw, its just still on day 4. -____- Still long way to go..
But no worry, I still on fire! :D
Just same like some days before, I did the simple workout. Combination between sit up, leg raises, jab, and today I add kicking. And not forget my favorite gym tools freestyle glider (I did it while listening to the radio). I also still did the lemon juice detox.
Being more concern about this challenge made me more curious to found out about fact some sport. Besides from pinterest, I also get it from twitter. And I found an article how to pressed your appetite. I admit that why my body blown up, one of the reason is my suddenly increase of appetite. I read the article and found out some points to pressed the appetite. The point of all that is how to keep you normally full. Some of the points told about kind of food that can keep you full longer, like complex carbo (brown rice, oatmeal), and some protein source. And beside all of that, the simplest thing is to eat slower. I practiced it after read it (I didn't sure it was a suggestion or what), somehow I felt full while my meal was touched half. I usually eat half of spoon, now I eat only quarter of it and chew it slower than before. I guess it works! *cheer*. I got full faster than before and its stayed longer. :') What a heaven..

Nggak sengaja keingetan cerita di Shopaholic series, dimana ada toko perlengkapan rumah tangga yang menyediakan jasa database wedding wishlist (list barang-barang yang diinginkan sebagai kado), cute ya? Coba ada yang kaya begitu di Indonesia.. :p
Secara dihitung, sebulan kemudian tanggal ulang tahunku.. Iseng-iseng deh.. :p

Wished-Birthday-Present List:
1. Shoes! Shoes! Shoes! (Sebut tiga kali karena ini benda yang nggak akan pernah aku merasa kebanyakan). Preferable wedges or heels, synthetic or genuine leather, warna terserah sih, tapi kalau bisa yang formal look.
2. Bags! Preferable maxi bags (saya adalah tipe penyuka tas yang bisa segala muat), emm.. clutch bag buat kondangan juga menerima dengan senang hati, bahan syunthetic or genuine leather, a BIG NO kw bags with huge FAKE LABEL, neutral color please.. :p
3. Wallet! Preferable yang panjang dengan banyak tempat kartu dan nggak lupa tempat foto, model simpel dan elegan! Bahan synthetic or genuine leather, in dark color or tan color please.. :p
4. Jeans Jacket! Preferable cropped and washed color.. :p
5. Cooking tools
6. Voucher gym membership
7. Sunglasses! I need a kewl sunnies.. :p

#30DaysChallenge : Day 3, Hard to released

27 June 2013,

This is the 3rd day of my challenge. Well, still try to change my habit with something new. I still do the simple workout, self detox, reduce my portion of meals and reduce sugary drinks (actually I've been doing this from long time ago). And you know what, unconsciously its been a week I didn't drink coffee in the morning! Yaiy! I actually can't avoid drink coffee, but because I didn't do work activity so I don't want to drink it in my free day.
Okay, that the hardest part is to reduced consuming fried food. :(
Its so hard to released the habit, I can reduce salt on my food, but so hard to stop consuming fried food.
Oh well, avoid fried food will be my next my hardest homework. Still, wish me luck! ;)

Anyway, I've found some good simple-effective-workout on pinterest. I'm gonna share it to you later. ;)

#30DaysChallenge : Day 2, Life's change

Well, this is the second day of my #30DaysChallenge , actually this is a challenge for myself, to change some bad habit for better life, especially in health. Why health? Even we're still young, many disease can appear anytime, all could happen because an unconsciously cause like food what we eat or our habit. Moreover it took my concern when my cousin (30 something) got stroke. So, why don't we start change our habit at young and still enjoying healthy life until get old.. :)

Okay, in this second day, still I did some simple body workout (sit up, lift up, jab, and not forget my favorite gym tools called freestyle glider). I did breakfast and lunch, and some snacks(choco biscuits), I change dinner with eat some banana. Also not forget my self detox with lemon juice + warm water. Let's see how they works for some couple day. Wish me luck.. ;)

#30DaysChallenge : Day 1, Body Workout

On this week two of my friends told me that I really changed. Guess what? One of them told me that I'm fatter until my cheek looks wanted to came out from my face, and the others said that I'm look like a pregnant woman. :'''''''''''''''''(
Lately sometimes I felt hard to breath, two of my friends (other friends not what I talked about before) told me maybe I was lack of sport. And I admitted that I was too lazy to do sport at home (and have no money to go gym).
Both of those case warned me a lot, some day before my clothes also warned me a lot. Then here I am, promise to do some simple workout at home, everyday!

And this is day 1, I made a record, I can do body workout at home for one hour. :')
So happy, usually I only can handle for only 15 minutes then get bored with. Okay, simple workout I did are sit up, lift up, jab, and using gym tools called free style glider.
Beside of those simple workout, I decrease amount of food I eat, especially on carbs. Then I do self detox, drink warm water plus lemon juice, on the morning before eat anything and before went bed. Well, that's I could tell you now..

Maid of Honor of Prom Queen

It happened yesterday, me, Kevin and his mom accompanied her sister Karina prepared her Prom Night. Karina has just graduated from SMAN 8 Bandung, and she got accepted at Industrial Engineering ITB. Yes, that day she did some girls thing called make over (well not that over actually, but got face to be make up by). :p

And after some times wait, TADAAAA...

Here comes the Prom Queen, Karina

Well, dusty purple and bubblegum would be a lovely new color combination to adore, right? Classy but smart sexy yet. Dusty purple part used chiffon material and the bubblegum part used brocade. Well, maybe if you like you can add silver color for a little glam look.

The make up done at Shafira House. If you wear hijab, I recommend this place to do some make up and hijab do. They have a good make up artist, and of course for the hijab do, classic and fabulous (just ask what style you want to). The make up wasn't too much and the hijab add a fabulous touch. For the hijab style you may need two shawl, two color combination will be good, or used one tone color but in bright would be brightened your face.

Well, being so sorry because at the make up session I was a bit fussy. :p Well, that's me, I want everything to be perfect, moreover for a moment that we only had once in our life. Time couldn't be reverse to the moment we regret for. :)
And a little note, if you aren't really satisfy with the service (make up, or anything else) where we pay, go tell them directly, rather than regret it after. And for the people who work at service things, be thankful for a little complaint rather than lost thousands expectant customers. :)

We Share The Drinks.. Sharetea..

Indonesia lagi diserbu sama gerai-gerai franchise minuman taiwan. Kalau dulu cuma kenal sama i Cup, sekarang di tiap mall pasti ada lebih dari dua tempat minuman. Sebelumnya udah pernah coba Chatime (dan itu enak sekaliiiii!), kebetulan di mall yang didatengin nggak ada Chatime, kabita buat coba Sharetea ini. Well, meskipun namanya berbau tea, tapi nggak semua minumannya pake tea kok. ;)
Begitu juga dengan aku yang memilih choco flavor, karena pengen coba sesuatu yang beda.

Yang pertama disedot itu coklatnya, enak.. Cuma sayangnya emang nggak terlalu berasa coklat, lebih ke kaya susu coklat. Terus coba sedot bagian cheese-nya itu seperti namanya ada salt-nya, jadi yah kerasa ada asinnya. Penasaran kalau diaduk kira-kira rasanya kaya gimana..

I was asked to bought a bouquet of flowers by my friend's husband, then I decided to made it by myself.

What They Don't Talk About When They Talk About Love

Well, this is another late post. And by the way since I spend time at home a lot, the positive is I could write more, I even could post more than one each day. Well, at least I have something to entertain myself. :)
Have you read the title of this post?
Its actually a title of a film, nice film and really meaningful. Its really a long title, even when I bought the ticket my Indonesian-slash-Sundanese tongue got split. :p
My first impression of the title this would be totally romance film. I was really hope to watch the film, the film was showed at Sundance Festival. Its kewl right? And its originally from Indonesia.

 

I really like the opening of the film, with song of 'Burung Camar' that sang by some blind student. The film were taken at a school for students with disabilities, especially visually-impairment. Whole of story it told about how this people with disabilities fall in love each other. Started with a hearing-impaired boy named Edo that fall in love with a visually-impaired girl named Fitri. Fitri like to tell all what she feel to an imaginary person called dr. ghost. Then Edo who had eye to Fitri pretend to be that dr. ghost. Many times they spent until Fitri noticed that dr. ghost is a real person named Edo that had hearing-impairment. Then there's Diana who had limited sight fall to Andhika, a boy with visually-impaired. Actually I was a bit confused with every scene. Because its look no completed or continue each other. But at the end, I concluded that its actually about a fall in love things, describe in other way. Like Edo that hearing-impairment that also can't talk and Fitri that visually-impairment. That man love what they see, but woman love what they hear. How Edo couldn't talk even hear, but can see and fall with what he saw. Then Fitri that couldn't see, but read Braille letters that Edo wrote, spent many times with Edo and she fell with. Well love is really complicated to be describe, but it always find its own way.. And happily ever after.. :)

Matcha Whoope Pie by Arromanis, Whoop My Heart Deeply

Honestly this is a really late post. :p Should be posted last month, but well too many eat and too many things to share. Well this is a happening yearly event called Trademark, almost couldn't come because so many things to do but then I could make it on the last day! Yaiy! Take a look so many kewl stuff, not forget in the middle of cute food area. Not so starved, my eyes blinked too much to all those sweet treat, moreover when they had green color over it. I decided to bought some that I got a feeling they could blush my mouth, something different with usual.

Felt like I wanna bought all of them!

Well, like i said before, something with green color as the topping. I choose that greentea Whoope Pie.

Unforgettable first bite! Touche!

What do you think when look at the pict? Yes! Its really look like biscuit, hard and crunchy, also the topping will be bit hard because of dry look. Teeeet! All those thing goes wrong. My first bite, unforgettable.. The biscuit look but inside you can found moist but not too fluffy texture, all the crumbs bonding each other, and how it tastes? Perfect! Although the pie in original taste but its really originally tasty! Then the matcha topping, its not that icing sugar, its look more paste, I love the texture and how the matcha mixed well. Oh.. I don't need to tell you more how about those combination. Perfectly blush your mouth, whoop your deep heart!

They also sell tiny cupcakes.. :D

I'm curious a lot with strawberry hersey's whoope pie by Arromanis, would it be an unforgettable sweet kisses? :)

A Family from Korea

Hey!

Its almost been a year ago right?

Oh I miss you so much guys! Even its only some couple day we spent together.

You know what, I've been so nervous when you guys would came. I almost cancelled to be the host family. Super nervous! I was worried I couldn't be a good host. Worried I couldn't satisfied you guys with your Summer Exchange program to learn about Indonesia. Well, but everything went fine I guess. What do you think? ;)

Okay, first I was invited to Opening Ceremony of UASEP (Unpad-Ajou Summer Exchange Program). At that time I was introduced to two girls from Korea, Go Eun Choi and Seul Gi Bae, and I've been told that I would be a host for both of them. Then we introduced each other and some simple question, all I remembered I was really nervous at that time. I also worried I couldn't be talkative as usual, note that should talk with English. After the opening ceremony I got more nervous, I couldn't sleep well! Thought of everything until it came the time to pick you guys for a weekend with host family.

Came the time to pick you guys, I started super nervous! I came with my boyfriend to Ciwalk to pick you guys. After met you, we are hang around the mall. While wait to be pick by my unlce, we walked around. Then another worried things revealed! Shadza my LO told me that some of these Korean got digestive problems, maybe because of food shocked. I was really worried how to serve food for them. :( And that day I also been told that Go Eun Choi got fever.

Day 1, I asked them where did they wanna do. Gwen (english name for Go Eun Choi) want to bought some clothes, so we decided to go to mall. I was got an idea to ask my boyfriend and his friend (Mutia and Dinda) who know a lot about Korea to joined.  We around the mall, Gwen found some clothes, we went lunch and last a surprising-unbelievable-moment we went to cinema! Yes, at that day Amazing Spiderman had just released. Well, so college student right? Yes! That day I felt I'm a bit failed to introduced things that I would do before, but moreover I felt we have similarities! We're college student, we love hang out, we love to go to cinema.. And I guess all those things more fun and like we more enjoyed the day. After the film we went home (almost an hour we waited for taxi :(, so sorry to you guys made you wait so long time, and thank you to Dinda, Mutia and my boyfriend to accompanied and help much). At night we had a light conversation before bed, couldn't wait for the next day!

Thank you Mutia, Dinda, and my boyfriend! :D Day 2, I planned to take you to the cake shop and a hijab store (they amazed how people wear hijab and really beautiful). Note that at noon I should took them back to the committee, so I should maximize the time. First we went to the cake shop. They like it and enjoy the cake. The next tour was to Ina's Scarf, the reason I brought them there because my friend work there and Ina's Scarf is a hijab store that provide handmade, batik and all stuff are traditionally Indonesia. They were take a look and be make over by Ina's Scarf's crew. Yes! They were really beautiful wear hijab! You guys agree with me, right? ;) After the tour then I planned to took them to lunch but they asked to go home because they wanted to cook for me (is that super sweet right??).

Ah, and forgot to tell we did tour at day 2 by most popular public transportation in Indonesia called angkot. :p Can you imagine how to brought a foreigners with angkot?? Well, I still amazed till nowadays to think of that. And they enjoyed although the weather was really hot. Oh, they also really love kiddo! At the hijab store there was a cute girl and they keep play with, then at angkot there was a little boy, and they also like to play with! I'm sure you guys will be a good mom! :)

Talked about what they cooked for me, its a really special dishes! A noodles with Korean tteokbokki sauce that cooked by two Korean girls in Indonesian kitchen. How that is sounds? Great right? ;) . And about the food they was really delicious! Spicy and tasty! They event promised me to sent a tteokbokki originally from Korea.. Oh, I forgot! Every breakfast my mom served Nasi Kuning (yellow rice) completed with beef, kerupuk (a snack that you guys told me to eat while drink beer with friends), tempe and bala-bala (fried snacks). They like it although eat only little. Seul Gi Bae love my family recipe of beef cutlets!

Before pick them to committee, they were playing with my brother and my little cousins, they played football. My grandma wanted to talked a lot but bit hard to talked in english so i translated, but overall she really happy to have you guys. Also my mom and dad, couldn't talk many words, but they really happy you guys come and visit us. :)

After two unforgettable beautiful days, I learn so many things from you guys. How you guys thought, honest, independence, adaptable, nice, full of respect and how to be a criticize. I was bit shocked when you guys asked sensitive question, but then I answered. Then I learned that's not for intimidate things, but a huge curiosity, that how a student should be. Thanks for visit and write something in my memory, dear Gwen and Seul Gi, so happy to have you here. :) Kamsahamnida..

Although its only two days but its really a beautiful moment to remember. And I remembered we're so sad when its time to separated. Even Gwen cry. :( And its been a year.. Oh I miss you so guys!

Pray for me so I have a lot of money and I can came to visit you to Korea.. Amin
